Update on COVID-19 / Newsies Event Postponed

COPA Orange County considers the health and wellbeing of our patrons, artists and staff to be our top priority. Amid increasing concerns regarding the COVID-19 outbreak, Governor Gavin Newsom has issued an order to cancel or postpone gatherings of 250 or more in the state of California through the end of March, 2020. It was also ordered that smaller events should proceed only if the organizers can implement social distancing of 6 feet per person, and for people who are at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19, events should be limited to no more than 10 people. As a result, COPA Orange County will be postponing all performances of Newsies to a later date, tentatively in mid April.

The performances affected are listed here:

  • Friday, Mar. 13th, 7pm

  • Saturday, Mar. 14th, 2pm & 7pm

  • Friday, Mar. 20th, 7pm

  • Saturday, Mar. 21st, 2pm & 7pm

  • Friday, Mar. 27th, 7pm

  • Saturday, Mar. 28th, 2pm & 7pm

Please keep the tickets that you have purchased as they will be valid for the rescheduled performances. If you are unable to attend the performances once they are rescheduled, we will work with you individually on moving your seats to another performance or issuing a refund.

Thank you for your understanding as we work through this challenging time. We are currently receiving a large number of inquiries via email and calls, so appreciate your patience as we work to exceed your expectations.

Stay Healthy!
